TCU THE CREATIVE UNIVERSE was established in January 2014, and was formally incorporated in January 2020. We are a grassroot and Black-led company that specialise in street-based theatre. We specialise in producing new, innovative and ambitious productions for multicultural audiences. The company has achieved enormous success presenting the West Midland’s region with new artistic work, tour productions, and delivering compelling artistic story-telling productions, arts-based programmes, activities and projects to meet the needs of young children, young people, low arts engagers, under-deserved communities, women of Global Majority, Deaf and Disabled communities/audiences, and people at risk.

We will provide meaningful performance opportunities for under-represented Creatives, Artists and people living in marginalised communities, giving them access to high-quality creative experiences in Visual arts, Digital Media, Theatre (specialising in digitised theatre, site-specific, street-based, immersive) create Original Music and Film.
We are an issue-led and community-driven organisation we aim to be reactive and responsive to the needs of people within our community; to provide contribution to the well-being and quality of life of individuals. We listen to our communities and aim to work in partnership to develop community projects to strengthen communities we come from and tackle the challenges faced
